The IPRC is in the Give!Guide – Help Us Reach Our $10k Goal!

The Give!Guide (G!G) is Willamette Week’s annual effort to raise funds – and draw attention – to the good works of local nonprofits. The campaign is supported by numerous local businesses, who provide incentives to donors and Big Give Days for your giving. The IPRC is honored to be a part of the G!G once again during November & December this year, along with 174 other organizations.

It’s strange to fundraise in a year when so many people have been hurting. Honestly, we tried not to do it much this year, but as we come to the end of 2020, we need your help to reach our goal of $10k.

With your donations we can continue safely-distanced studio appointments and online classes. We can continue to bring the collaborative spirit of the IPRC out into the city together, like we did with our sign-painting, our mural project, and will be doing with our upcoming steamroller event (more info to come). We can also start some new projects, like digitizing our zine library to make it accessible even when the library physically isn’t.

And we’re truly excited about the thank you gifts we have for your generosity:

Every donor will receive a 6×8” folk surrealist print by Erika Rier plus a high-quality cloth mask from our generous business partners at Portland Garment Factory, a women-owned, zero-waste B-Corp studio (while supplies last).

Donations of $40-75: A special package with The Alignment Oracle Deck and booklet, which was designed by graduates of the IPRC Certificate Program (Image + Text and Poetry tracks) and their instructors Stephanie Adams-Santos, Coleman Stevenson, and Aspen Farer.

$76-$200: A packet of three limited edition 11×17” prints by JoJo Baccam, Jillian Barthold, and Liz Yerby, plus an upgrade on your Portland Garment Factory mask to include a special screen printed design.

$200-400: A personalized, safely-distanced risograph or screen printing workshop for you and a friend at the IPRC (available to schedule on Thursdays & Sundays).
$400+: A New Year’s care package with items curated by IPRC staff from vendors in the Mercatus directory. Mercatus elevates entrepreneurs of color in Portland.
All incentives will be shipped (or delivered locally) in January 2020. We’ll have more details & images of thank you gifts up at our website very soon.

While this has been a sometimes painful year, we’ve had many moments of being awed by the ways that you show up for each other. As part of our G!G campaign, we’ll be sharing times when the community of the IPRC has lifted us in 2020. We encourage you to share your own stories on Instagram and Facebook as well with the hashtag #IPRC2020andbeyond
