Virtual Yoga Nidra Benefit

Join Allie Lyon for a soothing 75 minute Gentle Movement and Yoga Nidra class to benefit the IPRC!

We’ll begin with gentle movement to release tension and prepare the body for our yoga nidra practice. Yoga nidra illuminates the internal landscape by inviting the physical body to rest, and shifting our awareness inward. In this lying down guided meditation, we hover between wakefulness and sleep and cultivate deep inner listening. This healing and transformative practice releases physical, emotional and mental tensions and we can begin to experience deep rest on even a cellular level. Yoga nidra is an invitation to shift away from doing and settle into being: returning back home to our original nature of pure bliss.

What to bring: Yoga mat, blanket, warm layers, water bottle

Allie is an abstract artist and teacher of yoga nidra, meditation, and yoga.
