Please join the IPRC for an evening of poetry from Ginger Ko, Lindsay Tigue, Sara Adams & Sara June Woods
Sara Adams is the author of two micro-chapbooks, Poems for Ivan (Porkbelly Press) and We All Have to Keep Our Heads (Ghost City Press), and two chapbooks, Western Diseases (dancing girl press) and Think Like a B (SOd Press). Her experimental/found poetry appears in publications such as DIAGRAM, tNY Press’s Electronic Encyclopedia of Experimental Literature, and Queen Mob’s Tea House. Sara is a Montessori teacher in Portland, where she lives with her partner, Greg, and their cat, Mr. Carrot.
Ginger Ko is the author of Motherlover (Bloof Books), and the chapbooks Inherit (Bloof Books) and Comorbid (Lark Books). Sidebrow will be publishing her second, currently unnamed full collection of poetry. Ginger is currently a PhD student at the University of Georgia’s creative writing program. Lindsay Tigue is the author of System of Ghosts, which was the winner of the Iowa Poetry Prize and was published by the University of Iowa Press in 2016. She writes poetry and fiction and her work appears in Prairie Schooner, Blackbird, and Hayden’s Ferry Review, among other journals. She is a graduate of the MFA program in Creative Writing and Environment at Iowa State University and is a current PhD student in Creative Writing at the University of Georgia. She is originally from Michigan and now lives in Athens, Georgia.
Sara June Woods is a writer, artist & feral transsexual living in Portland, OR. She is author and designer of three books, most recently Careful Mountain from Civil Coping Mechanisms Press. Her fourth book, Sea-Witch, is an in-progress novel in fragments about living inside of a gay witch god. You can read it online as she writes it at patreon.com/monstr
