Join members of the Mixed-Media Collage Artists Guild and explore a few of the many techniques for transferring images to use in your artwork.
Featured techniques:
- Gel Medium “Skin”
- Citra-Solv
- Packing Tape
- Hand sanitizer
Recommended Supplies:
- Laser, toner-based or magazine images to transfer
- Packing tape (the cheap stuff works very well for this method)
- Paper to transfer images onto
- Scissors and/or X-acto-type knife
- Removable Tape
- Burnishing tool (e.g., “bone” folder or large metal spoon)
- Fine grain sandpaper (small piece is fine)
