Learn to draw, carve, and print a one-color linoleum relief print at the IPRC! We will learn to use non-toxic materials, and easy-to-find carving tools so this practice could continue at home, outside a professional studio setting. No press knowledge is required for this introductory class. Just bring yourself and an idea for a simple, black and white drawing. During this 3-hour class we will draw, transfer the image, carve the block, and create a small edition of the prints on paper. You’ll leave with a finished carving block and a small edition of prints.
