Flowers for Resistance: A Creative Expression Workshop for BIPOC Community Members

This community offering for BIPOC Community Members is an art gathering for folks to engage in flowers as symbols of love, reciprocal relationship, culture, nonverbal language, interconnection and resistance. Through painting, sketching, collaging and sewing, this gathering will support collective liberation while enhancing communal modes of resistance by recognizing the land as home of sacred belonging.

Sensory Note: for anyone experiencing audio or visual sensitivity, please note that the IPRC is situated under a skatepark, which creates occasional disruptive background noise, and the lighting in the studio and classroom space is primarily fluorescent. We do have ear plugs available for members.
