Basic Paper Airplane started in 2005 and has explored everything from the future of print media to the history of the human family. It has been reviewed in Broken Pencil, Zine World, and been referenced as an inspiration for the movie adaptation of Where the Wild Things Are. Issues #4-7 are in print and available through Antiquated Future (www.antiquatedfuture.com).
Joshua James Amberson lives in Portland, OR. He’s the author of The Prince Zine and Growing Things: A Guide for Beginning Gardeners. He’s currently editing the essay collection, Everyday Mythologies, and working on a young adult novel called The Importance of Forgetting.
