Left Brain/Right Brain Illustrating for the Non Artist
Have you always wanted to incorporate pictures into your work without the use of appropriated images or clip art? You may not think of yourself as a visual artist but that doesn’t mean you can’t illustrate your own work. In this class Martha Grover of Somnambulist Zine will help non-artists who wants to illustrate their own stories and zines. The class will cover techniques, tricks and shortcuts designed to quickly tap into your right brain’s capacity for visual and spatial relationships. We will also cover the relationship between text and image and what to keep in mind when crafting our stories. In addition we will discuss the use of other types of images like maps, graphs and personal photographs.
