Come on by to see two sunnyoutside press poets ANHVU BUCHANAN and BRYAN COFFELT read their new work and fall under the spell of PWRHAUS. Bring cash for books and beer will be provided. The event is free and open to the public.

ANHVU BUCHANAN is the author of The Disordered (sunnyoutside press 2013) and Backhanded Compliments & Other Ways to Say I Love You (Works on Paper Press 2013). His poems have also appeared in Columbia Poetry Review, Cream City Review, The Journal, Vinyl Poetry, and ZYZZYVA. He currently lives and teaches in San Francisco.

BRYAN COFFELT is a co-editor of Future Tense Books and publisher/editor of Mammoth Editions. He is the author of Person/People, poems and fictions forthcoming from sunnyoutside press.

“Let everything go, and float off into emotional supernovas under the spell of PWRHAUS’s helium-filled pop. Portland’s most enthralling eight-piece expands on hushed, isolated melodies by stacking slabs of soaring harmony and lysergic instrumentation. Music for simultaneously remembering and forgetting your troubles.” (Chris Cantino)
