PZS x IPRC Reading

Check out our incredible line-up of writers and artists for this year’s FREE PZS x IPRC Zine Reading for the 2021 Virtual Portland Zine Symposium (@pdx_zines):

Cathy Camper (@cfastwolf) is the author of the award-winning Lowriders in Space graphic novel series, Ten Ways to Hear Snow, and Bugs Before Time. She also writes zines, including Sugar Needle, The Lou Reeder and Seeds of Scheherazade; Essays. She is a founding member of the Portland Women of Color zine collective, and a librarian from Portland, Oregon.

Golden Sunshine Collier (@d.s.press) is a multidisciplinary artist, healer, and creator of the Recovery Justice Framework. They’re also the creative force behind the Diasporan Savant Press. Their zines include The Audre Lorde Harm Reduction Zine, sold at @brownreclusezinedistro, and And Everything In Between: Black non-binary people in their own words, sold at @printedmatterinc.

Alyssa Giannini (@craftordiyofficial) is a queer, agender artist living in Squaxin & Nisqually territory (Olympia, WA). They’ve been creating zines & other art under the name ‘Craft or DIY’ since 2011. Their zines & art touch on all kinds of topics, but the common threads tend to be mental health, gender & sexuality, emotional intimacy, & DIY music.

Lisa Holden (@mentalrealnessmag) is the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Mental Realness Mag: A literary+arts publication centered around the mental wellness of Black Femmes. She hopes to create a platform, community, and, ultimately, a world where Black Femmes regardless of gender identity and sexuality can have candid conversations about the things most affecting them.

Blanca Villalobos (@blanca.s.villalobos) is a freelance cultural worker from the San Gorgonio Pass of Southern California with ancestral roots in Jalisco. They are a proud, queer daughter of Mexican immigrants and comes from a line of educators, artists and dream practicioners. Over the past 10 years they have had the honor of working with youth & families of color as a community educator and is currently co-facilitating a racial justice program for California desert conservation advocates.
