Klaus Nomi Release Party At Comics Club: A Monthly Comics Reading Series

at the Independent Publishing Resource Center, 318 SE Main St., Suite 155, Portland, OR
Comics Club is a monthly comics reading series prioritizing weird, local, indie comic creators. This month’s Comics Club is also celebrating the release of a new graphic biography of the otherworldly opera singer, Klaus Nomi.
Attendees are invited to dress in their “dada” best, think giant shoulder pads, loud patterns, or geometric shapes.
There will be readings by three of the contributors to the Klaus Nomi book, Emily Lewis, M Sabine Rear and Liz Yerby.
The new, beautiful Klaus Nomi comic book will be for sale at the event and anyone who pre-ordered through the indiegogo campaign can pick up their book at the event, and either get a return on their shipping fee or donate that money to the artists. Sabine, Emily and Liz will also have some of their individual work available for sale.
