Liz Yerby grew up in Baton Rouge, LA, and moved to Portland, OR in 2010 to study Russian. Despite drawing and journalling her whole life she didn’t figure out what a zine was until she went to the 2012 Portland Zine Symposium. Since then she’s been making zines, mostly about Russia, since that’s mostly what she’s been occupying herself with. Now she’s finished with her Russian degree, living in Portland, making art and trying to figure out what to do next.
