			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p class="ec3_schedule"><span class="date">February 11, 2012</span> from <span class="start">12:00 pm</span> to <span class="end">5:00 pm</span></p><p>In part one of this class, the focus will be on making reusable, good quality screens used for making paper or textile prints. The screens made in this class are 10&#8243;x12&#8243; which are a perfect size for zine and book covers! Supplies include, stretcher bars, professional quality mesh, degreaser, duct tape and staple guns.</p>
<p>In the second part of the day, the focus will be on printing a hand cut stencil image using the screen that was just built in the previous workshop. Stencils will be made using sticker paper and exacto knives and will be printed through the screen. You will need to bring a high contrast B&#038;W image (no larger than 8&#215;10) in which to make a stencil from as well as your own materials to print on, either paper or fabric. Ink will be provided.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p class="ec3_schedule"><span class="date">February 24, 2012</span> from <span class="start">6:00 pm</span> to <span class="end">9:00 pm</span></p><p>Arthur Bradford short story author and a director. He has had one book of short stories published, Dogwalker (Knopf ISBN 0-375-72669-1).[1] He has won an O. Henry Award and has had his stories published in <em>Esquire, McSweeneys, Zoetrope, Dazed &amp; Confused, Tin House,</em> and <em>BOMB.</em> He was a contributor to the McSweeney&#8217;s publication <em>The Future Dictionary of America.</em> He was a Wallace Stegner fellow at Stanford University and a James Michener Fellow at the University of Texas at Austin.</p>
<p>He was also the director of<em> How&#8217;s Your News?,</em> a documentary wherein disabled and handicapped adults interview unsuspecting passersby in a cross-country road trip. The film was broadcast on HBO, PBS, and British channel, Channel 4. The concept was expanded and developed into a series for MTV and broadcast throughout 2009. Bradford served as executive producer and director. Arthur and a <em>&#8220;How&#8217;s Your News&#8221;</em> reporter were interviewed on the popular BBC podcast Ouch! He was also featured on NPR&#8217;s This American Life in the <em>&#8220;Special Ed&#8221; </em>episode.</p>
<p>Since 2006, he has served as director of &#8220;<em>Camp Jabberwocky</em>&#8220;, one of the longest running residential camps for adults with disabilities in the United States.</p>
<p>Bradford is also the director of <em>6 Days to Air</em>, a documentary that depicts the making of an episode of South Park, which premiered on Comedy Central on October 9, 2011.</p>
