6:30 pm

Issue 20 release party

The release party of Issue 20, September 27 from 6:30-9:00, will bring many delicious things including readings from outgoing Fiction Editor Tammy Lynn Stoner, and Gertrude’s new Guest Fiction Editor, Carter Sickels, author of critically acclaimed The Evening Hour (and many more). We’ll show documentary filmmaker Dan Sadowsky’s harrowing look at the intersection between gay rights and immigration.

Celebrate with Gertrude Press! We provide a positive forum for LGBTQA individuals to share their stories, poetry and art without limitation on subject matter or background. Gertrude is the longest continuously published queer journal still in print today, and has published work by more than 300 individuals from all over the U.S. and 13 countries worldwide.

Gertrude Press is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization showcasing and developing the creative talents of lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer and allied individuals.

This event is free and open to the public
