Book Release Party for “Everything is New” an Artist Book by Dan Attoe

Jan ’13
10
7:00 pm

Portland, Oregon–based artist Dan Attoe has made a drawing a day for seven years.

At turns intimate, mystical and funny, the drawings serve as inspiration for his neon works and paintings.  A selection of these drawings have been published in a limited-edition artist’s book:”Everything is New.”

“I don’t hold myself to any one line of thought, a style, or subject matter.  At the same time there are certain themes I return to with frequency: wilderness landscapes, sex, and violence have proven to be limitless in their value to me.” -Dan Attoe

There will be a brief artist presentation and books will be available for sale.

This event is free and open to the public.
